On-water training with Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue - Unit #37 Sooke, BC
May 19, 2012
This video shows some on-water training off the shore of Vancouver Island. We left Sooke Harbour and headed out past Whiffen Spit, rounded Secretary Island and then proceeded back towards Sooke, entering the Sooke Basin and then back to base again. It wasn't very rough out there with 3-4 foot seas. It's hard to gauge with the front camera as it's positioned about 8 feet off the water using a wide angle lens. Next time we'll mount it a little closer to the bow and water. The Auxiliary is always looking for new members. So contact your local unit and volunteer your time. Great experience, on-water training and close group of friends. For more information on the Sooke Unit, please visit their official website at www.ccga37.org To find out more about the Sooke Region, please check out the official Discover Sooke website here. http

Search for Atlantis & Bermuda Triangle - Coast To Coast AM
May 16, 2012
In the first half, explorer and author, Greg Little, discussed Edgar Cayce, the search for Atlantis & the Hall of Records, as well as discoveries of lost planes in the Bermuda Triangle. The prophet Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) talked about a portion of Atlantis being found in the Bahamas. The remains of a rectangular underwater building off the island of Bimini originally found in 1969, was recently viewed again, and has been dated back to 17000 BC, Little reported. Cayce believed the Atlantean civilization got its start in 210, 000 BC. "He talked about thought forms and entities that existed on other planets within other solar systems," and an ET visitation that occurred in the Maya lands in Central America, sometime after Jesus lived, Little recounted. Cayce said that in 10500 BC, Atlantean priests operated portals-- communication devices that allowed them to speak with intelligences from the "outer spheres," Little detailed. Through such a device, a priest was warned that Atlantis would be destroyed, and they should erect a Hall of Records to store their valuable history and knowledge. Cayce believed a Hall of Records (featuring 32 stone tablets) was created in three different locations-- Bimini, the Yucatan in Guatemala, and under the Sphinx in Egypt. Little has investigated numerous sunken planes in the Bermuda Triangle, but is uncertain if they are connected with the sinking of Atlantis in that region. Many of these planes were never seen or heard from again, and didn't ...

Travel & Tourism Their Basis & History
Nomads are nomads. Nomads are always on the move for their food and flocks. Until man settled down in farming communities mankind could never really get ahead nor develop. It was not until whole groups and communities settled down permanently in rich well watered farmlands in the middle east , did civilization have the surpluses and bounty with which to base their lives and commercial trade upon. Thus the trade routes , silk , gold and spice routes and historical commerce were born and built
